What is the operating system of your machine? If it is MS Windows, plz check whether you're able to change your Display Properties to 24bpp.
I want to set the video mode to 24bits, but.... It doesn't seem to be working.
Sometimes the graphical card supports some resolution but its driver doesn't.
I am at a loss.
No, you're not at loss. 32bits graphics is definitely superior to 24bits.
