For reasons concerning compatibility with older packages, I was hoping to find a djgpp 2.x compatible package of the *grx 1.x* sources/binaries. I would prefer building myself, but ready made binary package is also very welcome.
A couple of packages that I am trying to compile call for 'grx.h' and cannot build when upgrading the include to grx20.h

You have two choices:
1- Use the compatibility headers in the GRX 2 "compat" subdirectory, copy grx.h and mousex.h to your include directory and try. I don't know if it suffices.
2- Download the orignal 1.03 grx from simtelnet: ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp in the v1tk subdir (but I think it only works with DJGPP v1).
