Maybe you are right... I have downloaded grx-2.3.1.tar.gz again but I can't manage to unpack it. I type tar xvf grx-2.3.1.tar.gz (Unix) and the following message appears: tar: directory checksum error .
What is the problem?

I have not yet gotten this particular error message from tar but to me it sounds like the package is broken. Maybe your browser saved the binary file as a text file and destroyed it this way. Try again and tell your browser to save it as binary. Or, when you do normal FTP, don't forget to set the transmission type to "binary".
