Hi all I have released Win32 (Mingw) binaries of the latest GPC snapshot (20051116). These releases, as usual, are based on gcc-3.2.3. I have put a new gpc snapshot at: http://www.math.uni.wroc.pl/~hebisch/gpc/gpc-20051116.tar.bz2 This snapshot has integrated preprocessor. This should solve problems with (lack of) predefined symbols when using 3.3.x and 3.4.x backends. The preprocessor is just integrated -- inside it is the same preprocessor as before. There is new `--preprocessed' option, but the change is intended to be as compatible as possible. Still, the code to handle command line changed, so there may be some unintended change. Also, there is no gpcpp executable anymore (use gpc -E as preprocessor). Hi I am tring to install gpc-20041218 on solaris 10 intel platform. byte data type in TP and GPC

Hi, I have an old TP binary record, that consist of integer, real and byte data types. After reading the byte variable from the record I get wrong numbers. Does anyone know if there's any difference between the byte type in GPC and TP? Thanx

The original TP file record consists of 3 types: integer, real and byte, I replaced the original integer with smallint, but it still doesn't work and the result I get is even worse. I have installed Dev+GNU pascal on computer with win xp professional. Whenever I try to compile any source code I get an error message: c:\dev_gpc\lib\gcc-lib\mingw32\3.2.3\collect2.exe: and: No such file: No such file or directory I've checked and the file exist in this location. Best practice to link with C code

I have a question regarding the way to link a Pascal module to C code. For example, if in the following module: Module ctest interface; Export ctests = all; Procedure MyCProc(I:Integer); external name 'mycproc'; End. { Interface } Module ctest Implementation; End; { Implementation } If mycproc() is implemented in cproc.c, is it better to put {$L cproc.c} in the Interface or in the Implementation Section?
