Hello, I am trying to build cross linux -> cygwin compiler with pascal language enabled. I am able to build complete gcc-3.3.1 with c,c++,objc,ada,f77,java and pascal-20030507 (the three patches to get gpc-20030507 working with gcc-3.3 applied) languages enabled. Based on a discussion taking place in another thread, I created a little program to help me test for mixed line endings in my source files; just thought I'd give it here in case it would help anyone else. gcc-3.2.2 works so well (gpc 3 skip, 0 errs) thought I'd try gcc-3.3.1 For setup, untared the 2 tar files, etc. In dir diffs: ln -s gcc-3.3.diff gcc-3.3.1.diff In dir build: ../gcc-3.3.1/configure --enable-languages=pascal --enable-threads=posix --enable-__cxa_atexit So far, so good. Sorry for additional message. I forgot to say that I gave configure options: --enable-languages=c,pascal --disable-shared I first tried without --disable-shared and the build failed when linking libgcc.a. Hi! We spoke earlier about the problem with ec in Val (source, x, ec) function, and Frank said it will be fixed in next release (it's exhibited again in '12#11invalid'). Consider the following second problem that `Val' returns '0' if he finds more than one non-digit character in `source' string. How to get a patch for gcc-3.2 core? If I use gcc3.2.1 core, my installation would fail. So I try to use gcc-3.2 which is more stable.
