Thankyou for the response.
whe i link the library file, it gives me the following errors.
$ gpc -L/usr/local/psql/lib -lbtrvif -DBTI_DEC_UNIX sqlnew2.pas
reqsamp1.o: In function `__btrid':
reqsamp1.o(.text+0x5e): undefined reference to `Handler'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
$
But a C program compiled like this works well.
Can you tell me what the reason could be?
