Can GP handle imports in implementation part? Dear All! As I have already read in archives, thread support in GPC is missing now. I know that I can "feel free to implement it myself" but, unfortunately, I am rather a compiler user than a creator, I'm not a such guru (at least, for the time being). ORB bindings for Pascal?

Does anybody know anyone working on ORB bindings for Pascal? I've looked into the omniORB project, but they don't support Pascal. Other ORB projects support Delphi, but I don't know if that could be dropped into a, eherm, virginal Pascal project. I'm interested in tying an ORB implementation into my project; any pointers as to where I should start looking would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I'm trying to build the gpc-20040516 "beta" snapshopt with GCC-3.3.x on AIX 5.1. GCC-3.x itself supports AIX 5, I have a working version on the system (binary install, not compiled-it-myself). Is there any other way? I don't know if you've already got an answer, so here's mine: Could you send a detailed error message from the compiler? It's especially interesting which references remain unresolved. My guess is that you are using some of the GPC standard units, and that you didn't add the according linking statements to the command line. For example, if you're compiling a source that "uses Crt", your command line will have to look like this: gpc foo.pas -o foo -lncurses -lpanel ... since crt.pas is based upon the shared libraries libncurses and libpanel.
