I see. Any better suggestion for the wording?
Capitalisation perhaps?
If that's the proper English term. You can tell better than I could -- my dictionary says:
capitalisation n 1: the act of capitalizing on an opportunity [syn: {capitalization}] 2: the sale of capital stock [syn: {capitalization}]
;-)
I think that your dictionary is referring to the technical meanings of the word. These are additional meanings deriving from modern commerce, and do not replace the original meaning. "Capitalisation" (whether you spell it British or American style) would be an appropriate word to use in this context - but there may be other more appropriate words.
