Interesting idea. I don't know Sun Pascal and I haven't seen this feature in Pascal, but since I've done quite a bit SQL in the last few months, the feature itself is not uncommon to me...
I'll put it on the To-Do list (future/tom6.pas). (It would be GPC's first special Sun Pascal compatibility feature AFAIK :-), but don't expect it to be implemented with high priority (unless you'd like to help doing so)...
