The lack of addr2line on OS X has been reported before, see http://www.gnu-pascal.de/crystal/gpc/en/mail12553.html for alternatives. Also WriteStackDump doesn't give any useful information on darwin.
The OSX-specific method works very well.
Which is why I took the freedom to solve it that way.
