According to Orlando Llanes:
I'm curious about Cygnus Win32 and EMX. What I'm curious about is what does GPC compile using Win32 or EMX (for OS/2)? Does it compile a console application? Or could they make calls to the Win32 or OS/2 system API?
GPC (like GCC) under EMX by default produces console applications. Producing applications for the OS/2 presentation manager is straightforward if you know the OS/2 API. With some effort you can also produce 16-bit Windows applications with EMX.
One interesting thing concerning the `.exe' files produced by EMX is that they run as DOS applications *as well as* as OS/2 applications. :)
