This is a known bug in GPC 2.0. Please upgrade to gpc-970510 (alpha version), available at
ftp://agnes.dida.physik.uni-essen.de/gnu-pascal/alpha/.
(The next - beta - version is in preparation. Please be patient ... some days ...)
