As I mentioned last july, I'm now dealing with the lingüistics department at my University to participate in the translation of GNU-Pascal's docs to Spanish.
Around these two weeks I suppose to have new from them, but until then I'm preparing the work to enroll some folks within.
As we saw that the docs are in texinfo format, we are going to propose you a migration to Docbook format which is the actual standard in electronic documentation. From these sources it is easy to obtain HTML, pdf, textinfo, dvi etc.. ¿Do you think this is factible?

I don't know too much about Docbook. Converting the documentation would probably be quite a bit of work.
BTW, all the mentioned formats can be (and are) generated from texinfo as well, so I don't see the big advantage. I personally find the syntax of texinfo simpler than what I've seen of Docbook (and basically anything SGMLish) ...
