Hello, I tried out the new beta version of gnu pascal. There seems to be a problem whith the crt unit. Although the compile goes fine, if I include the "uses crt" line in the program(even if no crt routine is used) the executable just makes a clear screen and then exits without doing anything else. If I delete the "uses crt" line the programs executes fine. Any idea?
That's the defined behaviour of the curses library on which CRT builds. It was designed for "fullscreen" application rather than "text filters", so it makes sense to clear the screen at the beginning and ending of the program.
Or do you mean that your program contains other code which is not executed? This would be a bug indeed. In this case, please post a test program and tell me what platform you're using.
