Cannot download this file from Netscape. Going to that directory through http, the file libgpc.a.gz is seen in the listing of the directory, but Netscape says he cannot find it when I click on it (but it is able to download other files) ???

It was my error, sorry. I forget to set the attribute 'readable to all'. Now you should be able to download it.
