Strange, since we use context diffs which should be most portable. But anyway, sometime soon, GPC will not need any GCC patches at all, and this problem will be gone automatically...

I do apologize... GNU patch is not necessary to apply patches that come with GPC under Solaris. I've made tests yesterday and the native Solaris (ver. 8 EA x86) patch utility flawlesly applied diffs.
