Hello,
Sorry to bother with a question that is probably trivial, but I did something wrong installing the 9707 beta binary for Linux and now can't get gpc to work.
Instead, I get the following error messages: numeric constant with no digits numeric constant with no digits warning: missing program header In function 'program_noname' parse error at null character
I'll appreciate any help you might offer, so that I can correct my blunder.

Alas, I now know I am not going nuts!!!
Tom, I have the same problem with the binary executable as you! We discussed this problem briefly on the mail group but could only come up with the possibility that I am using an old version of libc.so (I am using libc.so.5.3.12 but Jan-Jaap reccomended 5.4.20 or newer.
Just FYI, I have not solved it yet (work is incredibly busy). I am using RedHat 4.1 installation with nothing special added. Someone suggested that 4.2 works fine. Let us know your progress. As soon as I hire an assistant, fire a contractor, and finalize my 1998 department budget I will start working on it again!
