Hi, I am a 19 years old college student. I study programming. I like Linux/Unix* alot because of the open-source concept and also because these OS are highly configurable and customizable.
I run RedHat 5.2 on a i386 machine (Pentium 166MhZ, 48MB ram) and If you need to traduct english-to-french or french-to-english feel free to ask me :) I can also do alpha/beta testings. This far, my teachers only showed us the basics of Pascal (Console..) and some C. But as my studies advances I will get better.
In fact, I am willing to do whatever I can to help Linux/Unix*/GNU to grow. (Little anger toward microsoft....well let's rather say some hatred ;) reboot-reboot reboot)
I live in Quebec, Canada.
Cya soon!

Having French translations of GNU Pascal documentation is certainly a Good Thing.
Just one thing to take into account: The GNU Pascal documentation is currently fairly incomplete. If you find a missing section, be welcome to add it.
I think that this list is the correct place to send the result to, so native speakers (of both English and French) can review the translation (and/or new sections;-). We want the GNU Pascal documentation being as correct as possible - concerning technical contents as well as speech.

This is also a Good Thing. :-) Most problems discussed here arise from the fact that nobody is really aware of the features of GPC.
One hint: GPC runs on a large variety of systems. If you write a tutorial, please say clearly which platform you are speaking of (with the best option being to cover all platforms, of course). Due to the high portability of the GNU development tools there should not bee too big differences between the platforms, but if makes at least some difference whether an example executable reads `c:/gnu-pascal/foo.exe' or `/home/joe/gnu-pascal/foo'. (Yes: The GNU development tools support forward slashes even under DOS-like systems.)
Thanks for your offer to help,
Peter

You are right. For now, I'm interesting only on the PC with DOS or Windows Platform, and I try to help the true begginers in french.
Olivier
