Where to get it
The source is being uploaded to
ftp://agnes.dida.physik.uni-essen.de/gnu-pascal/beta/,
files
gpc-971001.tar.gz and gpc-971001.zip,
together with binaries for DOS (DJGPP), and Linux (ELF). Binaries for DOS and OS/2 (EMX) and FreeBSD will follow as soon as possible.
Well in my anxiousness to try out the new version of GPC I downloaded the source and followed the compilation instructions for EMX, however I get this error:
gcc -c -DIN_GCC -DGPC -O2 -I. -I.. -I. -I./.. -I./../config gpc-comm.c In file included from gpc-comm.c:32: gpc-defs.h:38: gpc-config.h: No such file or directory dmake: Error code 1, while making 'gpc-comm.o'
which looks right as there is no GPC-CONF.H file in the EMX subdirectory. Is it safe to use the GPC-CONF.H from the msdos directory when compiling? or should I try to generate my own gpc-config.h file?
