Hello, folks!
The EGCS is going to release egcs-1.2 as gcc-2.95.
How much sense does it make to continue support for (a) gcc-2.8.1 and (b) egcs-1.1.x?
Since it causes work to continue with (a) and (b), I'd prefer to switch completely to gcc-2.95.
Comments? Objections?

I concur with the switch. I'd rather see the effort go into improving gpc than supporting gpc on obsolescent versions of gcc.
Comments?
While having two versions of gcc (2.95 for gpc, 2.8.1 for GNAT) installed is a bit of a nuisance, I'd rather see disk space wasted than programmer effort (in supporting multiple versions of gcc).
Objections?
None.
