Hello,
I finished the RPM (RedHat Linux distribution package) I mentioned earlier. It can be downloaded from a new "redhat" subdirectory on agnes.dida.physik.uni-essen.de
While I built it on my RedHat 4.2 distribution, it should work also for other RPM based installations (Caldera, etc.)
I included all patches to GCC found in the gcc-2.7.2.1.src.rpm so it should build on Linux/alpha and Linux/sparc as well, but I cannot verify this.
As soon as we have gpc-2.1, it should probably be uploaded to the redhat-contrib archive.
Okay, so now installation on Redhat is reduced to only a few mouseclicks. Too bad you still need a keyboard to *use* it ;-)
