I just read that, thanks to the Polish under secretary at the Ministry of Science and Information Technology in Poland Wlodzimierz Marcinski, the worst has been avoided (see http://kwiki.ffii.org/Cons041221En). We have to be ashamed however of the role of the Dutch chairmanship of the EU ....

Luckily, yes. They can be proud of their gouvernment.

Same for us, our gouvernment acts against the parliament's vote. Politicians.
