GRX for GPC: Demo files?

Hi folks, are there any demo files for usage of the GRX GNU Pascal interface? Especially I need to know how to just initialize a GRX program - in X11 or - from a shell. Since the Pascal interface of grSetMode has another parameter list as the original function in C, this is a non-trivial problem. Further, I need to know how to handle keyboard events and mouse events with the GRX GPC interface. Thanks in advance for any help Markus -- http://www.gerwinski.de/~markus/

IRIX problem

Hi Folks, I decided to rebuild the GPC under IRIX 6.5 from the gpc-20010502 source on the top of gcc-core-2.95.2. It is not working. Problem with unpacking of gpc-20010423_tar.gz

Hello, I tried to download the GPC version 'gpc-20010423_tar.gz' which was successful. But while trying to unpapack it with command Gunzip gpc-20010423_tar.gz an error message is seen :' INVALID COMPRESSED DATA - FORMAT VIOLATED'. Could you please help me out. Thanks and Regards Hari

It also builds on gcc-2.95.3 with Cygwin and Mingw, but fails with all sorts of problems under Solaris2.5.1 (many of them relate it seems to gcc headers, and the problems start long before it gets to the 'p' directory). Yes it is solved at least for for djgpp with gpc-20010502 and gcc-2.95.3 I have made the change for HAVE_SELECT. The resulting binary has been uploaded to agnes. Thanks ! GPC on FreeBSD

Hi, to install some of my programs, a FreeBSD user requires a current GPC version (preferably newer than 20000717). Is there any FreeBSD port available, or can someone provide one? (I have to experience with FreeBSD and no access to a FreeBSD machine myself.) If so, does it take care of installing cc1, cpp and libgcc.a as well, or will that have to be done manually? Start with something simple, say foo.pas: program foo; begin end. Step 1: note no space betwen "e" and "-" gpc --automake-o foo foo.pas Step 2: do it right gpc --automake -o foo foo.pas Step 3: repeat step 1. Shouldn't there be a built-in "make clean" in there someplace? Russ

compilation with GCC 2.95.3

Hello, I tried to compile the current snapshot of GPC with GCC 2.95.3 under SuSE 6.2. I followed the procedure as I always used to, but there seems to be some error - make complains that there is 'no rule to make choose-temp.o' Any hints? Solutions? Any comments will be appreciated.
