According to BP, the "else" of a case doesn't require "begin" and "end" for multiple statements, and that's how GPC behaves. I think it is OK, since the "else" part is always terminated by the "case"'s "end", so it's clear how far the else extends, even without another "begin" and "end". SP and EP (AFAIK) don't use "else" but "otherwise" in a "case" statement, so they don't apply here. (If GPC behaves wrong with "otherwise", that's another thing, I don't know.) Or do you mean anything different? 'GOTO' bug!

The new GPC BETA (971001) for DJGPP has fixed a lot of bugs. Great work!! Unfortunately, I found a new bug which only affects badly written programs (So why did I find it ?!?!? :). 'GOTO' used in a unit crashes the compiler with a SIGSEGV. Take a look at the code below: Unit Goto_U; Interface Implementation Procedure BugProcedure; Label BugLabel; Begin {$M BEFORE} Goto BugLabel; {$M AFTER} BugLabel: End; End. GPC To-Do list

Hi everybody, I've set up a To-Do list for GPC. It contains all bugs known to me as well as wanted features. The bug list currently corresponds to the current beta version (gpc-971001). Most of the entries in the list come from discussions and bug reports on this mailing list. The main purposes of the list are for the developers to keep track of what's left to be done, and for everyone to be able to check if a certain bug is already known, or a certain feature has already been suggested. Some of the entries are written in quite a cryptic way, sorry. I hope this will change a bit in the future. GUIs for GPC

Hi all! This is a red-eyed Chief, taking a break from baby-sitting (;-Z A quick question. This is relevant to all our previous discussions about class libraries and all. I understand that RHIDE was written in C/C++, with a port of Turbo Vision to DJGPP. If this is correct, is there a GPC port of Turbo Vision, or is one being worked on? Can the C version somehow be used with GPC? Is there a GUI library that is suitable for use with GPC? Thanks all! PS: I am trying to construct a GPC link on my homepage. It is still at a very early stage, and I have already noticed one error. Please pay a visit, and give me your comments and suggestions. Compiling gpc-971001with EMX
