...And I shall forward it again, to the list, where it belongs...
Does libgpc come seperate from the compiler in the Debian Linux package?

I have been trying to use the gpc and I keep getting the error
ld: cannot open -lgpc: No such file or directory
I am running debian linux, I used to be an assembly programmer but saw it fit to attempt to learn C because I came to really enjoy running LINUX and since I already know how to program in pascal I have been trying to do just that until I get oriented with programming in linux, hope you can help.
I guess all I need is to find out what package would install this -lgpc that it's looking for because I have search my entire system looking for it and can't find it.
ie: find | grep lgpc
Hope you can help, I would rather be programming for LINUX than for the DOS environment thanx
